Originally imported from Dr. Gregory Levin at the Garrigala agricultural station in Turkmenistan. Parfianka is a favorite selection from a collection of over 1000 Pomegranate varieties. The fruit is quite large and highly colored in elegant bright red. The arils are large and bright red with a very small, soft, edible seed. The trees stay compact, they are very productive, they grow on the coast, they grow inland, their fruit is exceptional.
