This is a very heavy, warm bed topper, likely over 100 years old, in lovely, well-preserved condition. No holes, tears, or loose stitching. Hand-tied trim. retro star pattern with popcorn stitch embellishments. This is not yarn, it is crochet 100% cotton thread. There are a few lightly stained areas owing to age, but they are not very visible or prominent.
The first photo shows it draped over a California King sized bed, so it is large. Please send a message if you need the exact measurements, or to make an offer.
From the estate of an elderly lady, who likely got it as a gift from her grandmother, who was a prolific crocheter. Imagine how long this took to work up, and how much crochet cotton was required. In at present’s terms, it would cost a fortune just for materials!. Thank you for looking
