Alice's adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass have been told many times before, and in many different ways - but never like this. Using the Carroll text and Tenniel illustrations as a starting point, Gerald King has created a special ‘philatelic phantasy' that stamps a new look on an old story. Drawn with astonishing precision and inventiveness, and with fabulous wit, are first day covers, postmarks, special issue stamps and so on, featuring Alice and all the bizarre characters she meets. The story of Alice has never been curiouser.
Vintage hardcover book is in good condition with a few yellowing to edges of pages from age, pencil price mark inside cover, and slight signs of wear to original dust jacket (see photos).
